Our La Mela Rosa bed and breakfast nestles in the undulating foothills of the spectacular Sibillini Mountains in central Italy’s largely undiscovered Le Marche region. Our guests tell us that this is a perfect place in which to relax, unwind and recharge the batteries. Some say that time has stood still in unspoilt Marche, making it like Italy used to be. The region is certainly one of Italy’s best-kept secrets; a haven of extraordinary beauty, peace and serenity that has no crowded tourist track. Visitors come here from neighbouring regions to explore the area’s medieval hilltop towns, and to experience their culture, cuisine and crafts.

Rob and Pauline fell in love with the Marche region long before they moved there from Australia. They were spellbound by Le Marche’s rural tranquillity, and they felt a special affinity with friendly Amandola and the magical Sibillini Mountains. Three years down the renovation track, Rob and Pauline have turned an old stone farmhouse into a comfortable and welcoming ‘home away from home’ where guests can rest, relax and enjoy themselves.
