We are delighted that our vegetable garden, although rather full of weeds, is also producing great tomatoes, zuchini, onions, garlic and beetroot. We have been able to send our Italian guests home with zuchinis and tomatoes. The eggplant and the pumpkins are still to come. Our small and ancient pear tree has also been laden with fruit this year which has been very exciting! As for the apple trees, one of our mela rosa (pink apple) trees is so heavy with fruit, the branches are hanging to the ground.
