In early August, we went to a photo exhibition in Palazzo Ricci in Monte San Martino. I had thought it was to be photos of the town over the past 100 years but instead it was of the people. Interesting for those who knew them but not so interesting for us.
However, some of the photos were wonderful - all were black & white and the people in them were dressed so stylishly. This one was my favourite, taken in 1938 at a festival in the piazza.
