Settembre in Musica, Ascoli Piceno's annual September music festival, starts on 14 September and continues until 4 October. This international festival, under the artistic direction of Michale Flaksman, began in 1996 and brings together young musicians with great talent from all over the world.
There will be a series of concerts, Concerti in Auditorium, in the Auditorium Fondazione CARISAP commencing on 14 September. Events, Eventi, such as Musica a Palazza on Saturday 15 September in Palazzo dei Capitani with young Ascolani musicians and some modern music; Domenica al Forte - a concert at Forte Malatesta on Sunday 23 Septembe at 6pm; Carnaval des animaux - Camille Saint-Saens' wonderful Carnival of the Animals in Teatro Ventidio Basso on Saturday 29 September.
