Outlet shopping - Tod's and Prada, Le Marche

My Roman sandals from ARF
My Roman sandals from ARF

It's been quite awhile since I visited the outlets at Casette d'Ete near Sant'Elpidio A Mare.  So, when my cousin expressed an interest in going, I decided to indulge her.

First stop was Tod's (otherwise known as Hogan's) where my cousin bought a pair of cute, navy blue ballerinas and a birthday present - a Tod's leather key ring. Unfortunately, Tod's shoes only go up to size 41 so no shoes for me!

We then went across the road to  "Il Castagno" brand village which features the outlet shops of some of the most famous italian fashion brands - ARF-Artigiani Riuniti Fermano, Cool & Sales, Cruciani, Début, Easy by Streni, Giovin Arte, Il Gergo, Iris, Lanciotti De' Verzi,Marco Massetti, Prada, Palace Cafè, Pantofola d'Oro, Premiata, Redingò, Sergio Amaranti.  It was new since I had last been to Tod's so it was interesting to have a look around. My cousin made a bee line for Prada where she bought a bright pink, fabric shoulder bag. It suited her and she was very happy with the price.

By chance, we wandered into ARF - Artigiani Riuniti Fermano which has artisan-made leather shoes. The smell of leather as we walked in was wonderful!  Better still, they had big sizes, so I was able to buy a pair of Roman sandals. My cousin purchased a pair of pretty, mauvy-pink sandals.

A satisfactory day's shopping!
